DIRECT PROGRAM COLLABORATION

Work directly with the people managing your program. A dedicated point of contact keeps communication clear and connects you with the people managing your build so technical questions and production concerns can be addressed collaboratively.

Finding and fixing issues before they cost you

We build to your approved documentation. When a deviation or change is needed, it goes through a controlled process, a Temporary Deviation Notice (TDN) or Engineering Change (EC), with each change documented and approved before release.

If an issue is found during production, the affected product is isolated and documented while the team determines the cause and corrective action. Inspection and testing are matched to your program requirements and may include SPI, 3D AOI, X-ray, functional testing, and dielectric testing.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Turnkey electronics manufacturing can combine component sourcing, PCB fabrication coordination, PCB assembly, cable integration, box build assembly, program-specific testing, packaging, and logistics. The exact scope is defined during quoting and NPI, so your team knows which activities, materials, and deliverables August Electronics will manage.

In a turnkey model, the manufacturer manages component procurement and manufacturing within the agreed scope. In a consigned assembly or consignment PCB assembly model, the customer supplies some or all materials. A partial turnkey arrangement combines both approaches.

Instead of coordinating multiple suppliers, turnkey manufacturing brings material planning, component procurement, assembly labor, quality management, and delivery under a single partner, giving your team clearer ownership and better visibility into the supply chain.

Yes. August Electronics supports NPI, early builds, recurring production, product revisions, and changing volumes. Its high-mix manufacturing model supports flexibility across configurations without depending on the economics of mass production.

August Electronics monitors component availability and lifecycle information. If a shortage, obsolescence issue, or proposed substitution affects the build, the change follows the applicable review and approval process before release.

Quality, testing, workmanship, and traceability requirements are established during quoting and NPI. August Electronics’ quality management system governs manufacturing and inspection controls, while testing follows your defined procedures and acceptance criteria. Package-ID traceability is provided as a baseline, with additional records defined by your program.
